Cadet Flight Sergeant Joseph McCrudden from 184 (Manchester South) Squadron completed the Qualified Aerospace Instructors Course. Following from the last two courses, CFS McCrudden was selected as one of twenty four from the applications open to the corps.

Upon completion of the course CFS McCrudden was awarded with a Level 2 Institute in Leadership and Management Award (ILM), a triangular aerospace flying suit badge and finally a Blue Lanyard. This shows his new ability to run and to teach both Staff and Cadets at a Regional Activity Centre. This centre composes of a Flight Simulator, Air Traffic Control Simulator and a computer room with programs that simulate rocket building and aerospace subjects open for the cadets to browse and use.

The honoured guests of the evening was Air Marshal A D Pulford (Pictured above on the left), Air Commandant B. Cooper and all Group Captains of each Region. They were given a 40 minuite Powerpoint by each syndicate about an Aerospace topic which prooved their capabilities of being an Aerospace Instructor.

Now that CFS McCrudden is qualified to run the Regional Activity
Centre at 184 (Manchester South) Squadron, Aerospace in East Cheshire and South Manchester Wing will be more active than it has ever been.
