Bulls Eye on the Air Rifle Range

As well as the Car boot sale running, Flt Lt Holland and CFS McCrudden trained and qualified cadets on the Air Rifle ready to shoot at some targets. All of whom were capable in completing the Squadron Marksman Award allowing time to train and experience to shoot, 16 cadets qualified and gained this level by the afternoon.

It was a very successful day as the cadets put all their effort into their groupings that the competition was to get the full 100 points instead of ensuring that they got a marksman standard. Cpl Dukali was the only one who managed to get 100 out of 100 and said "I didn't expect it but I did try my best". Our plan is to get everyone from 184 a squadron Marksman Level at least, as a squadron with a range and a newly qualified Shooting Range Officer should be able to do.

With many thanks to the effort and time which Flt Lt Holland and CFS McCrudden put forward, the squadron's development in becoming one of the best is showing just that!

Best of luck to all those who will be shooting very near in the future.
