Inter-Squadron X-Country was an eventful day to day the least. It was an unusually late start for an ATC sport event but once the day started, 184 were ‘READY!’

Powered by the inspirational team talk given by CI Bailey and the cheering and support from the rest of the ‘184 Army’ the competitors from each division preformed exceptionally with Junior Boys placing 2nd, Senior boys placing 8th, Young men placing 2nd. Running for the 184 females, the Girls placed 3rd and the Young women placed 2nd.

The overall result was representative of the effort that both the staff and cadets put in, which was a lot! Two 5Km runs and nights jam packed with PT. So taking this into account, I think coming first out of the 36 Sqns in Greater Manchester Wing is a well earned achievement.

As well as an overall team achievement 5 cadets personally placed within the top 5 in their race, securing themselves a place on the Greater Manchester Wing Team; CWO Nickpavlovich (1st), Cdt Yeates (3rd), Cpl Merriman (3rd), Quinn (3rd) and Cpl Khawaja (4th), will all represent both 184 Sqn and Greater Manchester Wing on the 10th March at Inter Wing X-country.

It was a tiring day and every single put in 184%, it shows in the result!
