On Thursday 21st July, the May 2011 Intake of 184 Squadron has come to an end. All 16 have passed a 12 week training course that composed of many activities and lectures that they needed to complete as part of their First Class training. Many completed their Basic Swimming Proficiency, Sqn Marksman's and Heartstart course that qualified them but also gaining a certificate.

The special guests of the evening was Squadron Leader Ian Hatton, He is currently in command of Sector 2 which composes of 6 squadrons 184 being one of them. Sqn Ldr Hatton presented all the awards alongside Flt Lt Holland who is the Commanding Officer of 184 Squadron. As they are part of the unit, they will from now on be able to do what every cadet is opened to for instance flying, gliding and many other adventure training day, weeks or even weekends away!
The support of the family and friends clearly was strong as the parade square was not only filled with cadets but with 70 guests. It has been the highest number of supporters we have ever had and the Squadron will ensure this standard and success continues.
